Ar Tarn Party in the Park -

Ar Tarn Scooter club in partnership with Ar Tarn Private Hire are throwing a festival of music at the Desborough Cricket club, next to West Lodge rural centre in Desborough.

The event is being held to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity, and the Aidan Howell memorial fund. 

Admission is £8 for a day ticket, or £10 for a camping ticket. The date of the event is the 11/09/10.

Ar Tarn Sponsor FC Aztec -

Ar Tarn Private Hire have become the main sponsor of yet another football team, in the form of FC Aztec Under 16's. The words Ar Tarn Private Hire are now proudly shown across the front of the green and yellow Aztec kit.

FC Aztec Under 16's are run by Ar Tarn's Mick Hillyer, and Luke Smith. They play in the Weetabix Youth Football League, and are in the Top Division, a division they have not been out of since the team began.

The side are also through to the Semi Final of this years Ken Burton cup, and are very happy to be sponsored by Ar Tarn Private Hire, keep up to date with FC Aztec from the Aztec website.

Kettering Town Supporters Sponsor -

Ar Tarn Private Hire has become the main sponsor of the supporters team of Kettering Town FC, who are more commonly known as 'AFC Poppies'. The team play in the Midlands League, and there next fixture is against Leicester City. The team have played several friendlies, to include a 1-1 draw with a Kidderminster Harriers team, and an 8-0 thrashing of Nuneaton Town.

'Ar Tarn Private Hire' can be seen emblazoned across the poppy red strip of the team, as 'Kettering Tyres' was back in 1979, when Kettering Town FC became the first british team to wear a sponsor across the front of the shirts.

The manager of 'AFC Poppies', Darren Young, said "I am delighted we have managed to find a sponsor, i would like to thank Mick for his support".
